Mr. Frederick Hong opened his Law Offices of Frederick W. Hong in Los Angeles, California in 1977. Between 1989 and 1993, he was a partner at the Los Angeles law firm, Hill, Farrer & Burrill.

Over the past thirty years, Mr. Hong has focused his practice on general business and corporate areas, with expertise in international business transactions and cross-border investment matters. He has represented a substantial number of business enterprises from Greater China in their business transactions and investments in the United States, as well as U.S. and foreign companies doing business in China and Hong Kong.

Mr. Hong has served as a board member of the National Committee on U.S. - China Relations, the President of Los Angeles - Guangzhou Sister City Association, and as the President of American Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong. For his contribution to U.S. - China relations, in 1996 the Municipal Government of Guangzhou bestowed the honor of Honorary Citizen of Guangzhou to Mr. Hong. Mr. Hong is a consultative member of the Guangzhou Municipal authorities. He is also an Arbitrator in the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission.
